Illiteracy is hard to write, but be careful; it can be catching. (When I was writing a lot in Reno's perspective, I started tacking 'yo's' and drawling slightly when actually speaking until I caught myself, delivered a figurative slap upside the head and... stopped. ^^;;)
Poor Sora indeed. You should draw the pile of mages and Sora, because it would be adorkable; that, or one of them presenting him with a hat. Not that you don't have fifty other things to do...
