1. Seth was an avid player of soccer when he was little, and he still enjoys it from time to time.
2. One of Seth's favorite foods is blueberry scones.
3. When his father died, it was just at the end of fall, so four-year-old Seth blamed the winter for taking his dad away. Finding the wildflowers helped a lot, and winter has since become his favorite season. He thinks of it as a time for remembering his dad.
4. He plans to become an English or history teacher when he grows up. After the end of the story, he's leaning more towards history, because after all he has such a unique perspective on it.
5. He doesn't even think about the irony of him dating Aerin anymore.
