I haz question!

Are there any Pokemon players on my flist who would be willing to trade me something - anything, really - holding a spare Leftovers?

I'm still beating my head against the Pokemon League, and one of my Pokemon is just really going to need some Leftovers. My only option for getting one right now is honey trees, though, and that's not working too well.

There's your problem. I didn't get past Bertha (sdfajkldsajl WHISCASH W/ FISSURE I'M LOOKING AT YOU) until everybody on my team was L 60 or higher (team was Luxray, Staraptor, Darkrai, Roserade, Rapidash, and Golem).

Haha I don't want to ruin your experience or anything, but you really are going to need an ice-type move in there somewhere too.. Just saying :P

What for, Garchomp? I took him down just fine with a high-level Golem using Earthquake.

They're a held item that heals the user by 1/16 of its max HP every turn. You get them off of wild Munchlax (which are nearly impossible to find), or there's one in a closed-off area of Victory Road that doesn't open until later.

If you catch a buttload of Chansey, one of the rarer items they have is a Lucky Egg, which increases EXP gain (it stacks with the EXP bonus from having secondhand pokes!). I got a friend to trade with me so I could get one because I didn't have the patience to catch a bunch of Chansey, and also so I could evolve my Graveler. If you want, maybe I could find a WiFi spot and pass mine on to you at some point?

Luxray ARE awesome, not gonna lie. Mine one-hitted Cynthia's Milotic o' doom that

ettezag was talking about up there. Adamant nature + Rivalry = huge boost to Thunder Fang, provided the opponent is the same sex as the attacking Luxray (I know Intimidate is more reliable, but it doesn't help to reduce the attack of a defense-specialist poke!).

Oooh! That would be great, I was trying that earlier but had the same problem (5% chance of even finding a Chansey, 5% chance of that Chansey holding a Lucky Egg, whut?) so I'd super appreciate that. I've been using my Exp. Share as a poor man's Lucky Egg, but that obviously makes it impossible to... y'know... share. XD

I'm pretty sure the Milotic is female because my Larxene is female. I believe it also has Pressure as its ability (though I think Pressure is standard for Milotics).

Let me ask around and see if I can get the campus WEP code so I can use their WiFi for Pokemon Pearl. Any specific poke you want with your Egg?

Yay! Nah, anything's fine, fodder or whatever. The pokemon I'm missing from my dex are all either the lake trio or higher evolutions that I'm going to see fighting the E4, so uh. XD

Ah, nope. Campus wireless apparently configures differently from Nintendo. I'll see if the instructions to change my security setting will work, but I don't think so. And my comp's in the shop, so I can't try to communicate with you from Stackerz Deli...

ETA: It's pretty much tradition for me to catch the first female Electric-type I come across and name it Larxene. I just happened to run across a Shinx first.

Well, my Gastrodon's got Earthquake. And she's fairly sturdy. :O And it's a heavy bastard, Alakazam might be able to put some hurt on it with Grass Knot. I don't know its moveset, though...

... Oh yeah. Gastrodon. That thing disturbs me, I really don't like to think about it :X Garchomp is a physical attacker and Gastrodon's SD is higher, but I suppose that'd work since it's still got STAB at least. Garchomp is 4x resistant to grass type moves.

Actually, mine ended up with a higher Attack than SD, to where I opted to give her Waterfall instead of Surf.

It is? Huh, I thought grass had normal effectiveness against Garchomp. That's what serebii.net says, anyway...

Oh no, I meant Gastrodon's def. is lower than its SD, and you'd probably want it the other way around for fighting Garchomp. I'm sure it's a decent Pokemon, the noise it makes just freaks me out that I would never consider using it.

Oh wait, it's Dragon/Ground, right. It and its stupid wings and its 4x ice weak confuses me all the time DX

...bur, I brain good. D stands for defense, Lyssie, try not to hurt yourself. DX And aww. I personally think it's cute, I feel rather affectionate toward it. To each their own. (Personally, I can't use Sneasel because of its evil little smirk, so.)
