Ooh, I know that pain XD; My first semester of anatomy class went by wonderfully, the teacher was this great guy who always encouraged everyone, went by each drawing pointing out every little problem and how to correct it, and he had a way of explaining things that made it all seem ridiculously simple. I got a 100 in that class without ever feeling I was working hard enough for it. It was a blast.
The second semester had a very verborrhagic teacher that managed to talk his teeth out without actually adding anything to what we knew. He'd go by your drawing, point and say "This is WRONG!" and start on his SAME drivel about the different kinds of lines that just... seemed to go nowhere. I CAN'T DESCRIBE IT. Picture a dog following its own tail. It was like that. Going in circles, on and on and on. Meanwhile he'd scribble all over your hard work and sometimes do the whole drawing for you, TALKING ALL THE TIME, and when he was done you just HAD NO IDEA WHAT HIS POINT WAS. I don't know how I got 85 in his class, because I was completely clueless. I didn't even complain much about the grade because he had said on the start that he had never given a 100 to anyone in all of his teaching time.
Once I almost cried in his class because he decided something was wrong with my drawing and procceeded to change this and that and those in it, and in the end it just. wasn't. my drawing. anymore. Not only that but it didn't even look good. I stared at it and it just reminded me of the bastard in 6th grade that ripped my half-finished drawing from under my pen and made a paper ball out of it to throw it on someone. It felt just like that.
And about books... damn, I haven't read a good, completely new book since HP6 came out, and before that, HP5 XD;; I was going to buy the Da Vinci Code for my birthday (can you believe I haven't read that yet?), but then I found the eRa DVD, and it was the last one in the store XD;; so I bought it instead. After watching it I decided I'd rather have bought the book. XD;;;;
And oh, fanfics. The last time I wrote a fic to the end was about two? three? years ago XD;; but the FFVII fandom made me want to write again, so I started a Zack-centered fic. I really hope I'll see that one through to the end, because it's going to be LONGASS LONG.
