... Suddenly, my muse is back and I have several scenes from the what-if-Zax-made-it-to-Midgar AU jockeying for first writing in my head. And I'm remembering that I owe laylah some post-AC happy, and I owe the universe some decently-written Z/A smut...

You know, the fact that this occurred right after Whitney came over to watch Advent Children is probably not a coincidence at all. XD

I seem to have settled on a piece of AU fic for now, in the same general 'verse as Words... smut is definitely on the agenda at some point, though. The fandom just needs some cuddly, well-written smut for that pairing.

Mm, I don't know. I think the rest of the Cloud-recovering stuff will be from outside his POV. Words was more of an experiment in style than something I'm going to go back to. I'm not sure I could continue in that format and still produce readable stuff. O.o

Even an outside pov will be great - seeing the little steps Cloud would walk towards full recovery, from Zack or Aeris' pov, is just too adorable a thought *__* sort of like a baby learning about the world ;_;♥ *squees*

♥ One of the things I was thinking about writing last night was something along those lines, a major milestone in Cloud's recovery where his personality is starting to come back, to Zax's inexpressible joy.
