I should have been scrimping and saving since AniZona. Then maybe I wouldn't be in this predicament.

Working from the estimates I currently have, it looks like it's going to take me $330 to get to AX. Assuming a certain amount of parental contribution and that I spend nothing between now and July, I will have approximately $250. Maybe.

... this FurBid thing seems to be an intriguing option I've not considered.

I actually don't really dislike furries as a whole (I'm just terrified of those among them who have the creepy fetishes), so there wouldn't even have to be self-hating involved. Hmmm.

I'm currently negotiating some paid yardwork with my mom, too, so there's that...

She is right, though. The furry fandom is good for art, though you need to be careful since there are also a number of people who you just... don't want comissioning you. Topic matter aside (I found a boobipede the other day! ...It was a joke, but still.) I've heard bad stories about payments getting jipped and stuff. ...However, that was only with a few, and I don't think you'd have a problem.

...I wonder if it really IS as easy as Bean says. I should draw some stuff to put on Furbid and see if it sells. You know, considering I don't draw pr0nz or genitals or anything. o3o That is unfortunately what sells best, though with your creature skills, you probably really could make some money thar.
