I've just stumbled onto this little gem here. If you have any love of JJ, go read it. There's a fair chunk of JJ-angst, but it serves a purpose, and it's not whiny pretentious angst at all. This fic remembers that Ryo is not a fluttery mindless uke, and understands that JJ is not an idiot or a plot device, and the writing is quite good besides. Best of all, there's more of it lurking on the horizon.

Fic like this makes a happy Lyssie.

A rare gem, indeed. The writer could use a beta - the "semapi" made me cringe - but all in all, a lovely ficlet. So nice to see a FAKE fic written by someone who's not allergic to characterization. Thanks for the link, luvvie. :)
