... I have a hat. :D

It's a good hat. Olive drab-ish, nice flat top, got a good style to it. Much nicer than a plain baseball cap. And it looks good on me. :D Plus, excellent place to put all my fannish pins, far more tasteful than sticking them on my shirt. XD

I'm happy about this. I have a hat. :D I've been wanting a hat, but I hadn't found one before this that I liked.

I also found some cool clip-on fake highlights that'll be perfect for my Xigbar wig! :D So that's one thing down. I'll need a long black wig next, and an eye patch, and scar makeup... and a way to make my ears pointy without resorting to cheesy plastic elf ears. Hmm.

Hah-ha! I only need to worry about my left ear, for my right is rather pointy by itself!

Randomly from my cosplay-goddess friend: "You can buy really nice latex ears that monster artists use that don't look crappy. They just go on the tips and blend into your skin using skin glue. But they'll be more expensive, I'm telling you now."

She is Teh Awesome. Randomly from me though...You could try to form some out of super- or flexi-sculpy. That usually comes in a flesh-ish tone when raw, and doesn't darken badly unless you overcook it. It can be painted, too. It's probably a lot cheaper, and (while it might not look The Best) would look like you put more artsy effort into your costume than just buying cheap plastic ears.

Do you want a really good wig, a verstile one, or a simple cheapy one?
