I'm moving this scene in World Without You that I hadn't been getting anywhere with before. Apparently my mistake was in trying to write it in Cid's voice rather than Yuffie's.

Somehow I'm really not surprised.

I should've tried Yuffie voice earlier. Yuffie owns my brain. XD she once took over a yaoi fic I was trying to write. I had so much fun while she was driving the action, and completely lost interest as soon as her role in it ended. true story.

I don't have a very strong Yuffie voice but I have a sneaking suspicion that I could develop one without much trouble if I worked at it, because she's just that awesome. She and Nanaki were always in my party with Spikehead because I wanted them in sight so I could 8D at them.

Oh man, you could, very easily. Letting a Yuffie into your head is the easy part. Once she is there she will fill all the shelves with Materia, rearrange the furniture, keep her shuriken in the silverware drawer and eat all your cereal. And you will still love her anyway. XD Yeah, I always have her in my party too. She and Nanaki just kick so much ass. 8D
