O, Vexen. Your voice was a little too Hojo-ish, but you were awesome.
I... I can see why Axel didn't backstab him in this remake. That would have been, somehow, even more horrifyingly brutal than what he DID. It was a profoundly disturbing scene - Vexen whimpering pathetically for mercy, Axel not even allowing him to finish begging, and poor Sora watching the whole thing with a look of dawning horror on his face.
It's probably a piece of mercy that Sora doesn't remember that later. Because damn.
Vexen was also awfully talky about Marluxia's plan. Which, okay, makes sense - Marluxia's the big traitor, Sora is too useful to the Org as a whole to let Marluxia control him; Vexen probably thought to turn Sora against Marluxia, then reassure him that Marluxia was a big fat traitor and we never liked him anyway, but we like you, Sora, just stick with all us creepy people in the black coats, we'll take care of you, oh and by the way we notice that Keyblade of yours is awfully good against Heartless...

So, I wonder; was that REALLY just so Axel could prove himself to Marluxia and then be in a position to take him out, or was there some kind of Roxas-related motivation there? I just can't quite figure it out. Vexen didn't SEEM like he was getting ready to blab about Roxas...
... I have thoughts on the Riku vs. Roxas scene and the Axel-Roxas scene, but I can't seem to articulate them right now and I must bed anyway. There was whimpering and woe. Oh god Roxas, why was your life one solid year of horrible.

The death scene was.....that was wow XD. I just watched it and just....wow, holy shit XD. My face went "O_O" when I saw what happened. I wanted backstabbing >:O

I would have taken shanking over someone being BURNED ALIVE, but. I have a mega phobia about fire. I can't even fucking light matches, man, or use zippos. I've got it bad. XD
But mighty disturbing. Probably a good thing Sora forgot about CoM; I can see how TRAUMATIZED he got there.

Interestingly, I think in the GBA version Vexen really IS about to reveal something about Roxas to Sora... he mentions something about "You idiot, this is the other side of your heart..."
And then Axel's like, "Lawl, team-kill :3 "
I love Axel like this. I much prefer the backstabbing asshole to the simpering idiot we get in KHII...
And... man. Poor Vexen. Just.. he gets immolated. That's one of the most painful ways to die. Ever. God... wow.
