First day!
So I'm home from the first (real) day of AniZona. It's kind of a trip to be coming HOME from a con every night. XD

sorradragoneyes! :D She's cosplaying as Sora, with a Roxas and a Namine, and due to the lack of anything really to do we were just kind of sitting around, talking Kingdom Hearts... khfanficrants jokes! We exchanged LJ names, marveled at the smallness of the world thanks to the Internet, and hung out a lot. XD It was fun! We kept sucking other KH fans into our gravitational pull. XD
Dealer's room bankrupted me. Like, instantly. I walked in with a lot of money... walked out with a lot of swag, but not so much with the money.
The haul:
- Blue dragon plushie
- Kairi figure
- Sora plushie
- Leather whip
- Small hand fan
- FF Trading Arts figure (Turk Vincent)
- KH Formation Arts figure (Goofy)
- Final Form Sora figure
...yeah.
The Vincent, I sold to a Zexion shortly afterwards for about ten bucks (not enough to buy another one - boo). I had to laugh my ass off about it, though. I bought him on eBay, specifically because I didn't think I'd ever luck out enough to actually get him from a box, him being the secret figure and all. ... And yet, both times I've had the chance to buy Trading Arts since then? Turk Vincent.
I have the worst good luck ever. XD
I still kinda can't believe I bought Final Sora. But... but omg he's so pretty. SILVER. And the Keyblades he comes with are le awesome. And, unexpected perk: Sleeping Lion fits nicely into Kairi's carrying hand. And stays there!
As of now, Final Sora is in his box, while Kairi the Conqueror stands atop my desk, smiling sweetly as she holds her Keyblade aloft, ready to smite her enemies in the iniquitous darkness. I can see her panties, and I don't care.
... also, the Final Fantasy cosplay gathering was today. You BET I attended. XD
And because I'm shooting everything on a digital camera, and coming home each night to a computer fully equipped to easily and quickly upload photos to the web...

... I actually don't have a costume this con. Couldn't get one together, and Gambino needs repairs. (Am NOT wearing him here. That's like a million layers and heavy and it's hot out.) I DID take pictures of Kairi, though, I'll upload them tonight and take some pictures of the others too.
