Right. Tokyopop? I love you guys always and forever for translating this series, but. BUT.
Will you STOP with the wretched overwriting of your translations? Yes, I understand that a pure translation would be dry and boring and wouldn't read naturally. But what is with these long, convoluted, not-really-in-character speeches you continually have everybody give? And what's with the dialogue in Act 20, huh? That's supposed to be the climax of the series, the "ta-da!", the really important love scene and all that jazz. I was reading it and rolling my eyes and wanting to smack Dee and Ryou both because of the terrible, horrible, overwrought annoying dialogue. Tokyopop, darlings, sometimes less is more.
Bah. Didn't even translate Like, Like, Love. Bastards.

UGH. AGH. IT HURTS. IT BURNS. And that's not even the worst of what they did. I am very, very disappointed in Tokyopop.
And yet, I have to admit I do want to see LLL translated, still. I guess I'm a masochistic fangirl.
Anyway. Yay! Chapter! :) I'll be eagerly awaiting it.

I swear, the TokyoPop people must have made a secret pact with the crappy FAKE ficcers. "Yes, we promise to make Ryou as femme as possible, all the while underlining that Dee is the SEME in the relationship, since all gay people fall automatically into these two categories." DUDE. First "You're way more butch than me" and now this. -_-

I have this animated Ryou icon I want to make in an attempt to defy the evil of the WeakassUke!Ryou stereotype. I'll have to do that once I can stand to be sitting down for long periods of time.

Funny, so do I. Though I'd not only have to learn how to make animated icons, I'd probably also have to learn how to draw. Chtuhnu and I both agree on this: We have to one day make an animation where Ryou the Girly Uke dances to either "I Want You To Want Me" from 10 Things I Hate About You, or "Ta-Ta-Ta-Ta-Touch Me" from Rocky Horror Picture Show. He'd prance around like a good uke and blush continuously.
Just picture it in your mind. That annoying, sassy voice: "I waaa~nt you to want meee~... I neee~d you to need meee~..."
