Well, I finished Shadow of the Colossus today. Holy crap that was epic. I don't know if I'll be replaying, though - it was a beautiful game, but subtly disturbing. And it influences my dreams pretty heavily.

I might give ICO another shot now, though!

Re: Disney... I still feel so weird about it. I mean, I'm thrilled! It just doesn't quite... feel real yet, I guess. No, surely I didn't actually get the internship with freaking Disney World? Surely I'm not actually going to Florida and living away from home for the first time in my life, and making money and opening up incredible career possibilities and working at freaking Disney World?

Reality continues to assure me that this is not in fact a dream, but it's just... wow.

I'm starting to figure out the less-than-awesome parts here. After consulting with the career advisor at school, I have determined that there is basically no way to keep my full-time status while I'm at WDW, at least not without exploding into a messy Lyssie-splat, which is troublesome since my health insurance hinges on this... I guess I just better not get sick. :P

Can't take my cat, of course, which is causing me some distress... I didn't get the role I really wanted, but I'll live... apparently not feasible to take Schala with me, but this has the upside that I will be getting a laptop... deciding which of three video game systems come with me and which get left behind is going to be interesting...

I'm still thrilled stupid, though.

I've been waiting for FF:CC JUST SO I could play it with you!

DS is a definite, Wii is probable (if only because I WILL HAVE ROOMMATES)... really it's just that I'm debating on the PS2. It's the platform Kingdom Hearts is on, which is probably a good argument for taking it to Disney World in and of itself.

So does FF:CC work on the Wii?

They're making two in the spring is my understanding, one for DS and one for Wii. (Right now, the only one is on Game Cube, and it's not online. :-P)

Laaaaptop. And your DS can fit in a purse, it doesn't even COUNT as a game system.

It really was! It's a very new and refreshing take on the puzzle game, with such a beautiful aesthetic...

It's the strangest feeling at first because you're so use to having little things like maybe a sewing kit around without thinking about it, but you really learn to live for you and you're more aware of what's yours. It's a great feeling being able to provide for yourself..at least, I think so anyways xD

There's classes you can take down there, but unless you're really super strict about wanting to graduate on time I wouldn't suggest it. Between working and then going to school, you won't have time to breathe XD. I said "fuck it" and that I'll see them in a few months XD.

And you know, I didn't get the role I wanted either. As a matter a fact, Food and beverage was FOURTH on my list XD, but it turned out for the best because sometimes those jobs you wanted in the park you wanted isn't always the best for you. As much as I wanted to work Agrabah Bazaar Merchandise cause I'm a dork like that? I would have killed myself (or at least a guest) working in Magic Kingdom I think they knew that XD I lucked out incredibly on all aspects of it, so hopefully they knew what they were doing with you like they did with me <3

*nod* I know about the classes. I did think about it, but when I realized the courseload I'd have to take, I just said "fuck it" too. I don't care so much when I graduate, I was just worried about the health insurance.

Hopefully. <3 I think I may have overstressed my performing arts experience in my interview - we did linger a bit on whether I could perform the Attractions duties - but yeah, I'll trust they have a good reason for sticking me there. (I still hope they'll send me to the boutique if I do well.)

I think everyone needs it XD. You learn a lot about yourself, you grow a tolerance for others, etc. I feel more prepared for life than I did before the program.

The most you'll get is a cold, I think. I've never heard of anyone getting anything worse...other than alcohol poisoning from being stupid XD

That makes sense. Some attractions come with built in roles (it's just a lot of people don't do them XD). I know my buddy Kimli worked at Tower of Terror and she was the most kick ass creepy bellhop ever XD
And if all else fails, you can maybe put in a request to change. I had a roomate that was able to switch from Goofy's candy shop to World of Disney because her major was something like business...design or something. I dunno, but she was able to switch because she was miserable working with candy all day XD

Shadow of the Colossus is amazing. I didn't get to play much of it but I did see how it ended and everything. I just had to comment about that.

It just keeps hitting me at weird times. "Holy crap, I'm going to Disney" will just pop into my head out of nowhere. It probably won't feel real until I'm actually packing.

I don't have the flat one, unfortunately. I think I honestly may just take it and the Wii regardless of what Dad says. He doesn't use either, and I want to share both with my roommates. (Playing Kingdom Hearts at Disney World is too awesome to pass up, truly.)
