I am so loving this fandom and the kink meme that I am trying to start up a creator's forum for the fandom. Because I think it would be nice to nerd in a creative fashion once the meme is done. I've totally been loving the sensible feedback, chit chat in my LJ and seeing so many creative people firing off each other.

Oh god, the kink meme owns me. It actually has me writing again! Do you know how happy that makes me? ;_; I think a creator's forum would be absolutely awesome. Maybe we could maintain some kind of anonymous request thing regularly, because the kinkmeme's been really good for producing a truly incredible amount of great fic and art... the anonymity kills a lot of "but I'd never write it..." and "but what would people think?" blocks on great ideas.

I have friended you so if you would like, hop over to my journal and have a look at the post that is FListed with info on the forum I have just set up for folks to look at and see how they feel. Also the rationale for setting it up.

I know exactly what you mean - I have written TWELVE things for this now. Insanity! And that's in between knockimg my WIP into shape which proceeds apace. It's so nice to feel insprired and around supportive folks.

It really is. ♥ I'm such a slow writer, and I've been blocked hardcore, but I'm up to two fics for this prompt and one piece of art, not counting my plans! (You didn't hear this, but I'm looking to attack the original RPS prompt before too long. And the happy!porn. And there's a few more that look tempting...)

Yeah and you didn't hear this but I am currently working on some smut. Despite not doing smut. I have no idea what I am thinking and I am finidng it a really tough write, actually. Hence why I am still up at 1:38am and nursing my insomnia to silly levels.

I'm also a slow writer because I am prone to Everything I Write Is Shit moods at regular intervals. I'm a broody cow, really.

Smut is a screaming spiky bitch the first (several) time(s). I had the hardest time on the time paradox porn, even though I've made specific efforts in the past to break through my smutblock. So don't worry. It's hard as hell, but you can do it. :D

One silly little tip I learned from a friend is to reduce the font in your word processor to near illegibility. I tried it on the last smut I did and it helped a lot - I find it gives a sort of distance from what you're writing, and with the scene not JUMPING OUT AT YOU!!!, it makes it a lot easier to get through.

I've done it a couple of times but really, I struggle unless it's part of a wider story I think. But I may try the font thing with this one - I kind of got sideswiped into this one and now I regret it XD

Glad you've liked the stuff I've done. Some of it I like, some of it I'm "eh" about. My personal two favourites I think are Cuckoo and In Between Days but I think that's because, in my head, theyre part of a bigger story I'm working on. The two little comedy skits were fun too, as was Master of Eastlaw.

But I figure there's nothing better than practice and more practice and this is a good way to push my writing boundaries a bit out of the comfort zone.

Sorry about 2-11. I had a great fear that prompt would not get done "right". And I wanted to see if my style really was that easy to spot even hidden in an unlikely place.

Was too busy with homework to get on today (sorry!), but this was hysterical. XD
