1. He's one of those cases where I dislike him intensely as a person, but think he's pretty great as a character. He's the archetypal Mad Scientist and kind of horrible, but that's what makes him so entertaining as a character. (Though, admittedly, I rather like the sane and genteel version I wrote of him for Blood of the Planet, OOC as it probably was.)

2. Oh man. If you take Hojo out of the equation, the entire game falls on its side and dies. He's a crucial part of the backstory.

3. I can't really relate to him much myself. I think it's interesting, how far and how hard he drove himself trying to surpass Gast as a scientist, but I can't relate to it.

4. Also see above, since it's the same fandom. XD

5. I actually don't ship him at all. With Lucrecia a bit, in my happy delusional AU-land, but not in canon. Even though they were married.

6. Not a thing! He's such a perfect antagonist as he is.

7. I'd hate him and he'd give me the crawling creeps; he'd hate me and ignore me entirely.

8. Not my favorite, but my god is he a good bad guy.

9. I wouldn't hype or warn, no. Unless I knew the person I was talking to really had a thing for mad scientists/really hated mad scientists.

10. In certain areas of fandom, yeah.
