Cloud :B

1. I really like him. I always have, actually, he's such a dork under his badassery and I feel for him intensely with his horrible backstory. I've always liked that he is ultimately a very human character who was weak inside and broke, badly... and still got better, with Tifa's help.

2. Being the main character of the game, uh... XD

3. He grips me hard. I can relate to him to an extent, but the sheer enormity of his tragedy makes him a little less accessible than, say, Edgeworth (whose problems are also horrific but more within the realm of reality).

4. I've been growing away from it, which makes me sad, but it was My First and I'll always love it for what it was to me. Thinking about a replay, actually...

5. I ship him with Tifa, definitely, and can't imagine why I ever didn't. I used to ship him with Zack, but I'm settling down into acceptance of their quite lovely canon pairings. XD Not that I wouldn't still love to see some happy, sexy OT4.

6. A lot of his portrayal in the new canon. His KH2 version made me actively hate him for some time, and I was unenthused about having to look so much between the lines in AC to see the Cloud I'd loved so much in the original. (Dirge was a balm unto my soul in this regard, though - oh my god he was only onscreen for like two minutes but dooooooooooooork)

7. I'd probably want to smack him upside the head, at least at first. If I was close enough to him to see the DORK!!1 shining through under the monotone grim facade, I'd probably be quite fond of him. I'd probably annoy him, though.

8. I'd say he's one of my favorites, yeah.

9. No, not really. He's the main character, you'll find out about him soon enough.

10. I think so.

I may need to play DoC now. I need a dose of Cloud!dorkitude.

You know, there's a friend of mine who can't see the dork on Cloud XD even after replaying the game recently, she still describes him as completely emo, and acts like I'm crazy when I call him a dork (which is an adjective she only applies to Zack...) So seeing you call him a dork makes me feel better about that. XD

Replay it! Maybe it'll get you in the mood to write for it again :D shameless begging for fic? Not at all!

"I'll make enough ruckus for everyone!" on the Highwind while doing squat thrusts? Advising Yuffie about motion sickness? The gun spin while he was in disguise? Bear wearing a marshmallow? Every single thing he said or did in the Beginner's Halls?

Cloud is a total dorkface and I love it.

I know XD;; I try to tell her how I see it, but XD; she just says "we're not playing the same game! I wanna play whatever you're playing cuz it sounds cute~"
