The storms here are beautiful, as long as they don't turn into tornadoes!

One thing about living in the Midwest is that there's usually a tiny color-coded weathermap of your state in the corner of the screen on most TV channels, regardless of what else is going on. I love you, tiny weathermap!

What's this I keep hearing about "golfball-sized hail" whenever a storm report comes on? It's hailed on us once since we moved here. I feel cheated.
