Two political posts in a row, from me? Believe it.

I know precious few of you on my flist are Arizonans (and I got this from one of you), but those of you who are:

Vote no on Prop 102.

I honestly don't know what else to say. It just seems self-evident to me that this is hateful, wrong, and needs to be shot down again so hopefully it'll stay dead this time.

The whole marriage protection concept makes me raise my eyebrows. I mean, I have yet to see any of this marriage protection crap that actually protects marriage as an institution. All it does is drive home the idea that a marriage is still about procreation-- so folks like me who won't be having children shouldn't be getting married either. Otherwise I'm undermining the institution.
