Today wouldn't have sucked so bad if the job angst and the people-forgot-my-birthday angst hadn't collided so very hard. (Admittedly, it still would have sucked, but not as bad!)
Man, I feel like a douche for whining about my birthday.
The reason I feel like a douche is because I wanted presents. XD Nothing lavish, just - some kind of token, on the day. "Happy birthday! Here, have a thing."
But I feel douchey going "wah, wah, I didn't get presents on my birthday, wah".
