A thought...

Sooo... saw the most recently aired new episode of Danny Phantom ("Identity Crisis") this weekend. Therein Danny manages to separate his ghost half and his human half.

(Which makes me, the sad little continuity geek I am, wonder how that's supposed to fit in with The Ultimate Enemy. But I digress.)

Definitely a fun episode, with the two Dannies' horribly exaggerated personalities (ghost!Danny was awesome, seriously XD), and great quotes as is usual for Danny Phantom, but the kicker is this scene.

Jack Fenton is racing in on an RV to try and save the day. Human!Danny and ghost!Danny are, like, right next to each other. It should now be blatantly obvious that, ghostly aspects aside, Danny Phantom is physically identical to Danny Fenton. Also, Jack is perfectly aware that they are both named Danny, and even notes this to himself, out loud.

And yet, he STILL DOESN'T MAKE THE CONNECTION.

Yes, I know, seeing the both of them separately would make it look like they were two separate people, but it doesn't even occur to him to wonder WHY the infamous ghost kid is practically a carbon copy of his son?

People in superhero stories really don't pay much attention, do they. XD
