A thought...
Sooo... saw the most recently aired new episode of Danny Phantom ("Identity Crisis") this weekend. Therein Danny manages to separate his ghost half and his human half.
(Which makes me, the sad little continuity geek I am, wonder how that's supposed to fit in with The Ultimate Enemy. But I digress.)
Definitely a fun episode, with the two Dannies' horribly exaggerated personalities (ghost!Danny was awesome, seriously XD), and great quotes as is usual for Danny Phantom, but the kicker is this scene.
Jack Fenton is racing in on an RV to try and save the day. Human!Danny and ghost!Danny are, like, right next to each other. It should now be blatantly obvious that, ghostly aspects aside, Danny Phantom is physically identical to Danny Fenton. Also, Jack is perfectly aware that they are both named Danny, and even notes this to himself, out loud.
And yet, he STILL DOESN'T MAKE THE CONNECTION.
Yes, I know, seeing the both of them separately would make it look like they were two separate people, but it doesn't even occur to him to wonder WHY the infamous ghost kid is practically a carbon copy of his son?
People in superhero stories really don't pay much attention, do they. XD

jawzdharken, are you thinking what I'm thinking? XD)

DUUUDE. So that's where that clip of Danny's ghost half being taken outta him came from! D: I really wanted to see that! Do you know if they're gonna re-air it? *poutpoutsulk* It sounds like it was really freaking cool to see, especially if they exaggerated personalities. XD That's always amusing. That's such a fun show. X3

Actually, it may not be. Did the clip you saw involve Vlad? Because this is actually like the second time this season Danny's ghost and human halves have been separated, the first time was in The Ultimate Enemy. And it was handled totally differently, in Ultimate Enemy his ghost half being taken out by Vlad was a BAD, BAD THING, while in Identity Crisis he used a Fenton gizmo and the two resulting halves were pretty much harmless. XD I start to think the writers for DP really need to sit down and take a good hard look at their continuity.
Anyway - they should re-air, I think, maybe after or possibly during this run of new episodes... Ultimate Enemy or Identity Crisis?
But yeah, wow. Ghost!Danny apparently came out of it with all of Danny's sense of responsibility and desire to protect people and... not much else. XD He tied a bedsheet around his neck for a cape and was being all stereotypically heroic and shit. It was hysterical. XD I think the best quote of the episode was when he had to save human!Danny when he was doing something stupid: "Dueling dopplegangers, have you lost your half of our mind?!" ... Also classic was Jazz seeing ghost!Danny on the TV and frantically entering "cover for Danny!" mode, only to have human!Danny walk through the kitchen seconds later... XD It was a very fun episode. Not as good or well-thought-out as some others, but fun. I love that show. XD

They really, really don't. XD
