theatrical_muse, and thinking seriously about taking Kim's suggestion that I sign up a muse there. (Yeah, remember when you suggested that, Kim? Way back when? XD) I looked at the muse list and Zax doesn't seem to be taken...Tifa appears not to be either, and since she's quickly becoming more fascinating to me it might be worth snapping her up too... I do need the practice writing, and since I'm roleplaying both Zax and Tifa over at Altered Planet it might help my roleplay...
I just... this is going to eat what's left of my life, isn't it? XD God, I'm addicted enough to Altered Planet. DAMMIT, INTERNET, I DO HAVE SCHOOL YOU KNOW. STOP TEMPTING ME.
In other news, I'm thinking about how to rewrite Blood of the Planet. Some things in the first chapter need to be reshuffled, I should go deeper into characters' motivations and decisions, establish a few background elements (like the early winter) earlier on...
... oh god it just hit me that I wrote a rough draft. Four years of obsession, 16 chapters of angst, 100,000 freaking words of fic, and it's all a rough draft. Why did I devote all this time and energy to a fanfic when I could be, you know... working on, like, Life 101 or Cupcake Girl (yo, Whitney) or frigging Zenith or, you know, something I could get money for? XD
(Which reminds me. I need to work on those mug designs for Trisk. Preferably before we're too far into December so we can get them approved in time for a few holiday orders. Also need to keep checking Craig's List for art gigs in the area. Also need to get some estimated prices on all that anime stuff I won a few years back and actually get off my ass and start selling stuff. I expect I'll be spending a metric fuckton of money at Anime Expo next year...)
Of course, my most immediate concern is getting these class projects done. I have to have a comp of my book cover ready for Illustrator class on Wednesday, and a magazine cover and neon sign for Photoshop, like, TOMORROW. (Isn't it cute how I procrastinate? *seppuku*) To say nothing of the CD design I also have to have done for Photoshop next week, and of course the final of my book cover. Amiko? Neko? I need you guys to interrogate me over the next week as to whether I'm working on my projects, and kick me in the ass if I answer no. :3
You can tell it's the end of the semester. I'm getting all flaily. XD
