It started innocently enough...


voodoobob: ... wow, I'd forgotten how bleak Traverse Town is under the soothing music and warm, welcoming atmosphere.

... then I mentioned this to Amiko and it was all downhill from there...

anriko: He paints his fingernails black while listening to Fragments of Sorrow remixed and dropped to half speed while a vocalist with twelve consonants and no vowels in his stage name snarls incoherently all over it!

voodoobob: DESTATI! DESTATIIII! FORZA! TENDIIII LA MAAAANOOOOO!

voodoobob: And then he goes to synthesize a ribbon for Sora.
voodoobob: That is BLACK.
voodoobob: Like his SOUL.
voodoobob: ... Sora doesn't ask questions, as long as the ribbon works.
anriko: Sora doesn't ask many questions, period, as a moogle in black with entirely too much eyeliner makes his soul die a little every time
voodoobob: The other moogles all seem a little embarrassed about it, anyway, probably best to leave the matter well alone.
anriko: His parents don't understand; how could their baby have changed so dramatically?
voodoobob: He was raised in all the finest moogle traditions!
anriko: He was such a normal child...
voodoobob: Kupopo the crystal specialist assures them it's not their fault and he'll get over it, though, so they're trying their best...
anriko: But even if it is 'just a phase', it still worries them so - how could this have happened right under their pompoms?
voodoobob: Perhaps they were too overbearing when he was young? Or maybe they didn't teach him to fly soon enough, that can be devastating to any young moogle's ego.
anriko: The other moogles are whispering, they know this. But they tried so hard to raise him right!
voodoobob: They're planning a family trip to Wonderland. Maybe a little variety and TLC is all their baby needs in his life?
voodoobob: (This is entirely too much fun. XD)
anriko: (XD Srsly)
anriko: But no matter what happens, they'll always love him. If nothing else, they'll support him in his decisions... even if they do involve things like labret piercing and clothes that look like a fabric bag threw up
