Observations
Nov. 22nd, 2006 05:30 pm1. You know you're in trouble when you spend three hours in the lab just waiting for video to import to iMovie, and exactly one file actually makes it in and it takes an hour to do so.
2. You really know you're in trouble when you find yourself baby-talking the lab computer and pleading with it not to crash when you plug in your hard drive/open iMovie/open iMovie again/look at it askance.
3. It's frustrating as hell when you finally get to editing, get on an editing roll, and then realize the next bit of footage you want ISN'T AVAILABLE TO YOU because of previously mentioned importing issues.
4. I'm not even sure this AMV is cohesive/good/worth watching.
5. I hate with all my heart the fact that I have no way to chop up these files usefully BEFORE importing them.
6. A convincing argument could be made to me in favor of getting a Mac for art purposes. (Sorry, Schala.)
7. If this AMV doesn't come out awesome against all odds, I'm going to cry.
Edit:
Me: Yeah, when I tried to import something into Windows Movie Maker, it chopped it up into bits of 2-3 seconds each!
Classmate: Oh? I think there's a checkbox to tell it not to turn it into clips...
Me: ... what?
Classmate: Yeah.
Me: *tortured wail*
That would have been nice to know about a week ago. ;_;
