wtf.
So. I've been up and working and DOING STUFF since 6 AM. At 11:04 PM, I'm so tired I can barely spell my own name. Yet I'm still working on a Photoshop piece I started earlier this evening.

And yet I'm doing a whole bunch of manual texture work, small fiddly details on hair and polished metal and cloth and skin. I'm putting more effort into this than I usually put into art when I'm fully charged, so to speak. Furthermore, there's a pattern of this kind of thing, and not even just with art.
Please explain.
