...O_o
Well, that was special. I was just about done with an entry on one of the netcafe computers when, abruptly, it told me I needed to restart. And then failed to actually start back up. All, apparently, without logging me off the network so I couldn't sign in on any of the other computers. So I'm typing this from one of the PCs in the library proper, paranoid as hell that I'll be yelled at. Smooth.
Anyway.
It took me a few years, but my opinion of Tifa has finally swung around from "eh, she's there. she's okay, I guess. *puts Yuffie in party instead*" to genuinely liking the girl. I thank Advent Children and my latest playthrough of FF7. Ah, Tifa. Such love for you, little fistfighter.
So, yeah, now I want to get into her head. There's a post-AC oneshot plotbunny I've been toying with, and I need to feed it extra carrots or something because I really want to write it. Really really a lot.
This is a testament to just how thoroughly FF7 has burrowed in between my neurons, I think. I can still be inspired enough to actually want to try writing fic even after the exhausting four-year labor of love that was Blood of the Planet (which ISN'T EVEN DONE YET) and the handful of oneshots I managed before then. That's pretty impressive, given my usual track record with fandom writing. XD I'd had other fandoms before FF7, I'll have other fandoms in the future, and my obsessive personality guarantees I'll be wrapped up in all of them to the point of being nigh unable to think of anything else, but it seems like I just keep coming back to the Planet to play. FF7 is my favorite sandbox. Love this game. Love Cloud, love Tifa, love Aerith and Yuffie and Cid and Vincent and Barret and Nanaki and Reeve and Zax and... yes. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
