The Fullmetal Alchemist's brother is cursed with a face that does not move; and yet, as Rick and Leo play cat's cradle and Alphonse Elric looks on, Scar thinks he can see the longing of a little boy in the jagged lines of the helm.

He knots a longer string together, and holds it out, and gives no explanation; and Alphonse Elric asks no question.

(For those of you following along at home, I begged her for mercy on AIM and we ended up agreeing on Vivi/Eiko, moogles. XD)

It was always kind of fun to visit Eiko - even if she was a little bossy, there was something to be said for having friends closer to one's own age
