Just shoot me now.
Apparently, slaving over pixels for two nights was just what I needed to kickstart my muse. My make-things voice has been pawing at me like an eager puppy since I finished the mood theme last night.
I've got a Stikfa coming in (YAAAAY) and lots of plans to customize that into a Schala, but in the meantime my make-things voice is all "But but butbutbut I wanna seeewwww! Wanna make things! Wanna DO STUFF!" And, well, I guess I need some practice before I dive headlong into Stikfas anyway. And I just so happen to have two nice varieties of purple cloth lying around...
And a Paine action figure.

This is the fruit of the night's labor. Notice she has no shawl - that came off the figure pretty easily. It probably wasn't supposed to, but it did.

The suspenders were part of the figure, so no joy getting rid of those. I'd have to paint over them or sand them off and just... no. I'm not going to actually mod my toy. I'm saving that for the Stikfas.

The gold things on the end of the scarf are just acrylic studs I glued together through the mesh to weigh it down. It had no drape of its own without those.
In retrospect I could have done this in a way that didn't look like testicles.

The back is absolutely hideous. At some point I did actually want this to be removable, and I did have to get it on her somehow, thus the laces in the back... after that, though, I gave up. Everything else is sewed together. Badly.
Overall, it's not TOO horrible for a first attempt at this. I have some nice pink cloth I've never used, maybe I could sew Rikku a dress out of that....
