... my god. It just occurred to me that my nephew is going to go through puberty.

They grow up so fast, don't they?

I can remember holding him as a baby! And he's already 10, so... *flails!*

I know what you mean! I remember holding my cousin when she was a baby, and she'll be 18 at the end of this month! *cries* I feel so old!

Seriously, where does the time go? *wails*

Dude, he's going to date girls and stuff someday.

... he's gonna scare the hell out of some chick's parents. This is the advantage of a boy: you are not the chick's family.

I'm just going to sit there and BOGGLE when he gets his first date. This is a thing I cannot fathom.

... I have a niece too.

Ack, that just makes me remember my two cousins....

I held the both of them when they were babies... I remember watching their mothers changing their diapers...

...now they're 11 and 12 AND BOTH TALLER THAN ME. HOW'S THAT FOR MAJOR SUCKAGE AAAAAAAAH?!??!? *SHOOTS SELF ASLKHG*

It's a jarring realization. I'm so used to him being a kid it's a real shock to realize that before too long he won't be.
