Once you are tagged you MUST write a blog about your 6 weird habits/things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next six people to be tagged and list their names.
1. When I'm standing at a crosswalk, if I'm paying enough conscious attention to this, I'll generally try to start walking and/or step onto the street with my right foot. Even when I don't do this, I'm still very aware of which foot starts out.
2. Quite often, I replay lines of fic in my head on near-endless repeat for no real reason. There's also a free-floating sentence that gets this same treatment, usually whenever I start thinking about writing out a scene in my head but don't have a specific scene in mind: "He stretched his wings and..."
3. Sometimes, when brainstorming or writing something out in my head, especially dialogue, I'll catch myself faintly mimicking the characters' expressions and actions - if the character is shocked I'll notice my eyes widening, for instance, or if they're pulling out a sword or something I'll be doing something weird with my hand. As a corollary, whenever I ponder my original vampire character to any great extent, for the rest of the day I feel vaguely like I should have fangs.
4. I don't think I've ever had a class syllabus that didn't get drawn all over by the end of the first day of class. Seriously.
5. I am compulsive about checking my e-mail. Mozilla Thunderbird is currently set to check my mail once every MINUTE. (This actually comes in very handy when doing LJ roleplay. The only way I will NOT get a comment notification in time is if LJ just doesn't send it.)
6. I can't get comfortable enough to sleep under anything less thick and warm than my comforter, and sometimes my heavy fleece throw. I need to feel coccooned, a sheet just will not do. Needless to say, given that I live in Arizona, the fan in my bedroom goes nonstop during summer.
