(no subject)

Well, my intent for AX this year was to sit at the art table with doujinshi and a horde of little clay Shadows. It looks like the art table may not be possible this year (curse my stupidity in checking so late!), but I'm giving the little Shadows a shot anyway.

Notes to self:

• Fingernails are to be trimmed and filed before working with clay. (I should already have known this.)
  
• Head and body first. THEN arms and legs. THEN antennae and hands.
  
• Try making said appendages in pairs, so as to ensure they come out the same size.
  
• Learn from this site and others. Or else just buy an assload of appropriately-colored clay. You really don't want your merchandise getting gross and sticky and unsellable.
  

... It may be good that the art table looks so unlikely this year. I need to prepare much more than I have. XD Might be good to just have another year of AniZona under my belt before I try selling at the scary juggernaut that is AX.

Well, trying. XD I've got a prototype made, and he's all out of proportion and was a pain to make. My dream may have to go unrealized. (A real shame, because asjkjzlfd one of my ideas was to make some little Sora!Shadows, with the crown necklace and Keyblade.)

Besides, I need to work on a costume. I really should be making that my priority.

Hee. ♥ I might still make them for AniZona. As soon as I can figure out how to paint the Sculpey. (Or else purchase a buttload of black to make it easy.)

It would! <3 The teeny Keyblades might get annoying to make, but then again, if I just use the Kingdom Key, it's just a set of really simple shapes...
