So this is the new year...

... As in, "JJ, dammit, I love them as much as you do, but put that album AWAY and stop playing The New Year OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN IN MY HEAD."
Yes, I'm sure it's him doing that. He's my song-grabbiest muse, and I get the distinct impression that he likes DCfC. Whodathunk JJ goes for soft, gentle, deep-thought-inspiring rock? And he hasn't been able to solidly grab even one song of theirs, even.
(I hasten to remind my dear muse that Expo '86 DOES NOT COUNT as a full song; even though the chorus suits him perfectly, the other verses do not fit at all.)
